Three new Casio G-Shock metallic dial watches launching globally

Casio has launched three new G-Shock GMA-S140 watches in Japan. Also set for a global release, each of the new analog-digital watches is said to have a “shimmery touch of pink gold” for an “eye-catching” look.
The Casio G-Shock GMA-S140PG-1A has a black resin casing and strap, the GMA-S140PG-4A has a light pink casing and strap, and the GMA-S140PG-7A has a white casing and strap. Each has a metallic pink dial, with matching rose gold tone backgrounds on the inset digital displays. These round watches have a chunky resin bezel, with the water resistant (200 m) casing measuring 49.0 x 45.9 x 15.8 mm (~1.93 x 1.81 x 0.62 inches).
Casio’s G-Shock GMA-S140 is a hybrid watch with two analog hands, accurate to within 15 seconds each month. The face also features a speed indicator and two digital displays showing more time and date information. The calendar is fully automatic to the year 2099, and an amber LED backlight ensures you can read the watch at any time. Users are offered a choice of 29 time zones. Plus, there are tools like a 1/1000th second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms.
In Japan, the Casio G-Shock GMA-S140PG-1A, GMA-S140PG-4A and GMA-S140PG-7A watches retail for ¥18,150 (~$116). Product listings on the brand’s international site point to a wider rollout, which could include countries like the US, the UK and Germany.
