Casio releases new upgraded classic G-Shock watches in US

Casio has officially released three new upgraded classic G-Shock watches in the US. They are the GW2310U-1, the GW6900U-1 and the GX56UBB-1. All three models launched earlier in 2026 and were rumored for a US release at the start of February.
The Casio G-Shock GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1 watches are now listed at the Casio online store in the US for $155 each. The G-Shock GX56UBB-1 is slightly more expensive, with a $165 RRP. It is worth noting that, at the time of writing, the GW2310U-1 and GX56UBB-1 watches are currently out of stock, with prospective customers invited to use the ‘Notify Me’ button on the product page to sign up for an email notification when stock becomes available.
Casio’s G-Shock GW2310U-1 is an upgraded version of the GW2310-1, the GW6900U-1 builds on the GW6900-1, and the GX56UBB-1 follows on from the GX56BB-1. Each has a newer module and comes with an LED rather than an electroluminescent (EL) backlight, which is said to be more efficient. All three of the classic G-Shock digital watches have a chunky black resin casing with a matching strap. They all offer Tough Solar charging and 200 m water resistance.
The GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1 are radio-controlled models, with support for world time and features like a stopwatch, a timer and a daily alarm. However, they have different faces (image below). The GX56UBB-1 is a mud resistant watch, with support for world time and a similar range of tools. This model has a black background display for an all black look.
These watches are already available in European countries like Germany.
