Casio G-Shock MTG-B4000 carbon frame watch now available in the US
The Casio G-Shock MTGB4000D-1A watch is now available in the US. Launched at the start of 2026 in Japan, this is a premium MT-G timepiece with a hybrid carbon and stainless steel case structure.
You can now buy the Casio G-Shock MTGB4000D-1A watch at the brand’s online store in the US for $1,600. The brand has also confirmed on social media that this product can be purchased at its physical store in SoHo, New York.
Casio’s G-Shock MTGB4000D-1A has a black and silver design, with a layered composite band. This Triple G Resist model is shock resistant, centrifugal force resistant, and vibration resistant, and it is also water resistant to 200 m. It measures 56.5 x 45.3 x 14.4 mm (~2.22 x 1.78 x 0.57 inches) and weighs 178 g (~6.3 oz).
The G-Shock MTG-B4000 is a radio-controlled (Multiband 6) watch with Bluetooth connectivity. The latter allows you to access features like automatic time adjustment and a phone finder tool via the Casio Watches app. There are on-watch tools such as a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and a daily alarm. It supports world time, with the three analog hands said to remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month. The three dials on the face show the time in a 24 hour format, the time in a second time zone and the day of the week. Other features include Tough Solar charging and an LED backlight.
It is unclear whether Casio will release the G-Shock MTGB4000D-1A watch in European countries like Germany, where it already sells the MTG-B4000-1A (€1,250 at Casio online store).
