Casio Oceanus watch with striking sapphire bezel now available in US

Casio has released the Oceanus Manta OCWSG1000CN1A watch in the US. This is one of two new limited edition Oceanus Manta line watches to have launched under the theme “Calm Night”. The other is the OCWS7000CN1A, and both arrived in Japan in late 2025.
You can now buy the Casio Oceanus Manta OCWSG1000CN1A watch at the brand’s online store in the US for $4,800. At the time of writing, the product listing states that there are only 10 units left in stock. This is a reflection on wider stock limitations, with only 600 pieces available worldwide, each featuring a serial number.
The Casio OCWSG1000CN1A has a black design, said to have been inspired by a moonlit sea. The casing is made of titanium with a diamond like coating (DLC), and the band is solid titanium with a matching black finish. Its sapphire glass bezel has been hand-cut by a master of the Japanese craft of Edo Kiriko style cut glass. Plus, the textured metal dial is said to represent the moon’s surface.
Casio’s Manta SG1000 Series watches are radio-controlled (Multiband 6), with support for Bluetooth connectivity, bringing features like auto time adjustments via the brand’s app. The model supports world time, with three analog hands and a basic date display. The face also features a trio of inset dials, one indicating the day of the week, and the others showing the time in a second time zone in standard and 24 hour formats. Plus, the watch offers a 1-second stopwatch and 100 m water resistance. On top of this, it uses Gallium Tough Solar technology for enhanced power generation.
Whether or when the Oceanus Manta OCWSG1000CN1A watch could be released in Europe remains to be seen.
