New upgraded classic Casio G-Shocks on the way to the US

Three upgraded Casio G-Shock classics are on the way to the US. These models - the GW2310U-1, the GW6900U-1 and the GX56UBB-1 - were all launched in Japan in January 2026.
Now, a report by dedicated Casio blog G-Central suggests that all three watches will soon be officially on sale at the brand’s online store in the US. Each of these ‘U’ models features newer modules and LED rather than electroluminescent (EL) backlights for enhanced power efficiency.
The Casio G-Shock GW2310U-1 builds on the original GW2310-1, released in 2009. This round digital watch has a chunky black resin casing, and features like radio control, a stopwatch and five daily alarms. It also offers 200 m water resistance and Tough Solar charging. You can already buy the Casio G-Shock GW2310U-1 at US retailer Arizona Fine Time for $155.
Similarly, the Casio G-Shock GW6900U-1 is based on the 2009 GW6900-1. It has a chunky black resin bezel like the GW2310U-1, though this is a Triple Graph model with green-hued inset dials. Again, it is radio-controlled with a precise stopwatch and multiple alarms. This solar powered watch is also water resistant to 200 m. The Casio G-Shock GW6900U-1 is expected to retail for $155 in the US. Plus, French retailer David et Philly has listed this model with a €99.90 RRP.
Casio’s G-Shock GX56UBB-1 has the same design as the older GX56BB-1, launched in 2016. This rectangular digital watch has an all-black design, including a black background on its display. The model supports world time, and also offers a stopwatch, alarms and Tough Solar charging technology. In the US, the Casio G-Shock GX56UBB-1 watch is set to retail for $165. It is already available in European countries like Germany for €159.
It is unclear precisely when these Casio G-Shock upgrade watches will be available through the brand’s official online store.
