Cheaper Casio A158 classic metal strap watches now available in UK

Two new Casio Vintage A158 series watches are now available in the UK. The A158WEA-2 and the A158WEA-7 were recently unveiled in Japan, where they have been offered for pre-order since the start of February 2026.

Now, Casio is selling the Vintage A158WEA-2 (blue/silver) and the A158WEA-7 (silver) watches at its online store in the UK. Each model retails for £34.90, making them two of the cheapest watches currently available in this market. Customers can choose between Standard and Express delivery options, with prices starting from £2.95.

The Casio A158WEA is a digital watch with a silver-tone resin casing, measuring 36.8 x 33.2 x 8.5 mm (~1.45 x 1.31 x 0.33 inches). It comes with a stainless steel band with an adjustable clasp, and is water resistant for everyday use. The difference between the two new versions is the frame color: the A158WEA-2 has a “cool blue” frame around the light background display, while the A158WEA-7 has a silver colored frame.

Features of the A158 series, which began in 1989, include a daily alarm, hourly time signals and a 1/100th second stopwatch. On the rectangular display, users can view the time in a 12 or 24 hour format, as well as the date and the day of the week. According to Casio, the watch should remain accurate to within 30 seconds each month, and the calendar is automatic.

Whether or when the Casio Vintage A158WEA-2 and A158WEA-7 watches could be released in other countries, such as the US or Germany.
