Casio MTP-B185 square metal watches could be on the way to the US

Casio appears to be considering bringing its MTP-B185 watches to the US. This series of six watches launched in May 2025, and the MTP-B185D-1AV was released in the UK a few months later.
Now, Casio has created a page for the MTP-B185 watches on its US website. This sits under the brand’s new Casio Labs section, which is described as “a space for experimental products”. Customers are asked to participate in surveys and vote for their favourite models, in return for early access to purchase new products.
On the Lab Showcase #1 page, Casio has listed the MTP-B185B-7A (black/silver), the MTP-B185G-9A (gold), the MTP-B185D-1A (silver/black), the MTP-B185D-7A (silver), the MTP-B185D-2A1 (dark blue/silver), and the MTP-B185D-2A2 (light blue/silver). The MTP-B185 is an analog watch with a square face, featuring three hands and a basic date display. The casing, measuring 40 x 32.5 x 7.3 mm (~1.6 x 1.3 x 0.3 inches), and the band with an adjustable clasp are both made of stainless steel. For the B185D watches, the metal is silver colored, while the B185G is gold ion-plated and the B185B is black ion-plated. This model is water resistant to 50 m and should run for around three years on a SR920SW battery.
While the new Casio Lab page states that the Casio MTP-B185 watches are not yet available in the US, the company notes that the votes of Casio Labs participants will be used to decide which products will be released in this country. Precisely when the Casio MTP-B185 watches could be released in the US remains to be seen.
