Affordable Casio A158 watches with metal strap set for re-release

Two more Casio Vintage A158 series watches have been spotted on the brand’s international website. The company recently released the A158WEA-2 (silver/blue) and A158WEA-7 (silver) watches in the UK.
It appears that Casio will shortly also re-release the A158WEA-1 and A158WEA-9 watches in 2026. These products were originally launched in 2011 and have been available at the brand’s online store in Japan for some time. The A158WEA-1 has a silver casing and strap, with a black frame around the standard light background digital display. While the A158WEA-9 has the same silver-tone resin casing and stainless steel bracelet, it has a golden bronze colored frame around the screen.
The Casio A158WEA can show the time in a 12 or 24 hour format on its rectangular display, alongside the date and day of the week. There are tools like a daily alarm, hourly time signals and a 1/100th second stopwatch. Plus, the lightweight (45 g/~1.6 oz) watch can be illuminated with an LED backlight, is water resistant for everyday use, and should run for around seven years before its battery needs replacing.
Product listings on the Casio global site suggest that these two watches will launch at some point in February 2026. However, where they will be re-released and at what price remains to be seen.
