Casio releases new G-Shock GW-BX5600 watches in another country

Casio has released the G-Shock GW-BX5600-1 and GW-BX5600-1A1 watches in the UK. The new GW-BX5600 model was rumored earlier this year and recently launched in Japan.

Now, Casio has started selling the G-Shock GW-BX5600-1 (black case/strap, light display) and the GW-BX5600-1A1 (black case/strap, dark display) at its online store in the UK. Both watches retail here for £159. However, at the time of writing, the GW-BX5600-1 is currently sold out, with no indication as to whether or not it will be restocked.

The G-Shock GW-BX5600 is a digital watch with a “high-visibility” MIP LCD. Users can choose between four time modes and standard or classic display fonts, and an LED backlight makes it easier to read the screen at night. This is a radio-controlled (Multiband 6) model, supporting dual world time zones. Bluetooth connectivity enables automatic time adjustments via the Casio Watches app, where you can access other tools.

On the GW-BX5600, there is a stopwatch, a countdown timer, five daily alarms and hourly time signals. It is a shock-resistant model, offering Tough Solar charging, with the solar panel featuring a brick pattern. This watch's chunky resin casing measures 49.1 x 44.1 x 13.4 mm (~1.93 x 1.74 x 0.53 inches). It is unclear when the Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600 watches will be released in other European countries, like Germany, or in markets like North America.
