Newly shared lifestyle shots and product visuals give us a closer look at the brand new Casio G-Shock x Bamford GM-5600, the latest stainless-steel entry in the long-running 5600 series. This model officially debuted yesterday (Nov 25) with a planned wider retail release in December, priced at £279 (~$365).
While the original announcement focused on the basics - a polished black finish, negative LCD, and Bamford’s trademark light blue accents - these new images give us a slightly better sense of the watch’s personality. A dramatic product shot places the GM-5600 in thick black liquid. Another shot captures the watch seemingly melting or dripping, exhibiting the shine of its glossy exterior. Both images show the aesthetic contrast between the matte Bamford branding on the strap and the polished metal case.
The new campaign also includes street-style photos shot in London, featuring models wearing full Bamford x G-Shock apparel. Details like custom cuffs, matching tags, and the pop of Bamford blue act as promo for the watch. One photo features a G-Shock display in a Japanese-style konbini shelf layout - a reference to the pop-up store concept.
This Casio x Bamford GM-5600 is the third official collaboration between the two brands. Previous editions of the Bamford G-Shock 5600 sold out quickly, and anticipation for this release has been high up to this point. The Casio x Bamford GM-5600 is set to become available from December 9 through select stores and Casio’s official online shop, following a short run at Meera Newsagents in Soho, London.
