Limited edition Casio G-Shock collab watch launching soon

A new Casio G-Shock collaboration watch has been announced in Japan. The limited edition Kamen Rider Kuuga x G-Shock DW-5600X celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Japanese tokusatsu television series.

The Kamen Rider Kuuga x G-Shock is a digital watch with a classic light background display. This is surrounded by a black frame, featuring golden yellow text and symbols linked to the series. It has a matte black resin casing, with red accents, and the matching black strap has two golden yellow vertical stripes. Te watch measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm (~1.93 x 1.69 x 0.53 inches).

Features of the DW-5600 include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown time with a 24-hour range and a multi-function alarm. An LED backlight helps users to read the display in low lighting. Plus, this shock-resistant model is water resistant to 200 m, and should run for around two years on a CR2016 battery.

On November 28th, customers in Japan will be able to order the Kamen Rider Kuuga x G-Shock DW-5600X watch at the Artimation online store for ¥23,980 (~$153). This item is limited to one per order, with the product expected to ship from mid-December. It seems unlikely that this model will be released in other countries like the US, though it may be available via resellers.
