Casio will shortly release the Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300D watches in Europe. Two of these timepieces are already available in Japan, and they were recently shown in hands-on images.
Now, Casio has listed the ECB-2300D-1A, the ECB-2300D-2A and the ECB-2300DC-1A watches at its online stores in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. While the ECB-2300D-1A, with a black dial, silver casing and red accents, and the ECB-2300D-2A, with a dark blue dial, silver casing and light blue accents, watches are priced at €249, the all black ECB-2300DC-1A, with turquoise accents, is more expensive at €299. Casio has not provided a release date for these Edifice watches in this market, though you can sign up via the product page to receive an email notification upon their launch.
The ECB-2300 watches have a carbon and stainless steel casing, measuring 50.2 x 45.8 x 10.9 mm (~2.0 x 1.8 x 0.4 inches), with a strap in the same metal. Where the timepieces have a black element, such as a bezel or strap, these are ion-plated. They have a double wishbone suspension design and are inspired by Formula racing cars.
Casio’s ECB-2300 is a Bluetooth watch with features like automatic time adjustment and a phone finder available via the Casio Watches app. Users can choose from 38 time zones, and home city swap allows you to quickly switch between your home city and a second time zone. On-watch tools include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. Other features include waterproofing to 10 ATM and support for Tough Solar charging. It remains to be seen whether or when the Casio Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300D watches could be released in other markets, like the US or the UK.
