Real-life images of the upcoming Casio Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300 series have showed up on @geesgshock's Instagram feed. Thanks to them, we now have a closer look at the watches’ actual build and finish ahead of any broader release. These models - the ECB-2300D-1A (silver) and the ECB-2300DC-1A - were recently confirmed for Japan and are now seen for the first time outside promotional renders.
The photos show that the double-wishbone case structure (a design cue inspired by formula car suspension systems) stands out even more prominently in real lighting. The brushed stainless steel finish looks slightly darker than in Casio’s product images, and the edges around the lugs appear more angular than expected. Both the silver and black versions stay true to their respective color themes, with the silver variant showing red accents around the subdial and pushers, while the black version exhibits subtle blue tones under certain angles of light.
A closer look also suggests that the watches have a slimmer visual profile than Casio’s earlier Edifice EQB models, despite their technical frame. The display layout, which pairs an analog dial with a compact digital window - appears cleaner and less recessed in person. The side profile image also reveals the black-ion plating’s matte texture, which contrasts very nicely with the polished screw details on the bezel.
These ECB-2300 variants will carry Bluetooth connectivity, Tough Solar charging, and world time support, similar to other Edifice models in this range. The silver Edifice model, ECB-2300D-1A, will go on sale for ¥41,800 (~$278) and the ECB-2300DC-1A (black) will retail at ¥52,800 (~$351). The launch date is set for sometime this October.
