The Casio Oceanus OCW-S7000TS-1A watch has been announced in Japan. This Manta S7000 Series timepiece celebrates the 60th birthday of Japanese singer and songwriter Tamio Okuda, as well as their 30th anniversary as a solo artist.
The Casio x Tamio Okuda watch has a black watch face and a matching sapphire glass bezel, with silver colored titanium casing and strap. Orange and red accents across the watch are a nod to the artist’s favourite colors, and the OT logo can be spotted on the crown, strap clasp and dial. Plus, “Okuda Tamio” is inscribed on the bezel, and a logo centred around the number 60 can be found on the back.
Casio’s Manta OCW-S7000 watch is radio-controlled (Multiband 6), with Bluetooth connectivity enabling a smartphone link. Users can choose from 38 time zones, with three analog hands and an automatic hand position correction function. There are several inset dials for features like the time in a 24-hour format, a 1-second stopwatch, and the day of the week. There is also a date display, and the bezel is engraved with a tachymeter. Plus, this is a Tough Solar charging model, water resistant to 10 ATM.
In Japan, the Casio Oceanus OCW-S7000TS-1A watch will retail for ¥242,000 (~$1,608). It is scheduled for launch in this country in November 2025. It appears that this limited edition model will be exclusive to the Japanese market, with only 1,000 pieces available.
