Casio is continuing its partnership with the Charles Darwin Foundation with two new G-Shock releases that celebrate Galápagos wildlife. The models, GA-B2100DF-4A and GA-B2100DF-1A, are inspired by the Sally Lightfoot crab and the Galápagos albatross, respectively. The crab model has a red bioplastic case and crab-shaped details, while the albatross variant uses a black-and-yellow color scheme and features bird-themed markers and graphics.
As expected, both watches are all about sustainability: cases and straps are made entirely from bioplastic, and each model includes special engravings and custom packaging with conservation-themed artwork. Casio has included the series' usual features - Bluetooth connectivity, solar charging, world time, double LED backlighting, 200 meters of water resistance, robust shock protection, and Carbon Core Guard structure.
Casio’s ongoing collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation has given us several interesting G-Shock models over the past few years - with each celebrating the wildlife of the Galápagos Islands while helping support the Foundation's conservation efforts. We have seen watches based on the Galápagos giant tortoise, hammerhead shark, Darwin's finch, marine iguanas and Galápagos penguin. Similar to the new ones, each older model used eco-friendly materials, species-specific design motifs, and dedicated packaging.
For the new GA-B2100DF-4A and GA-B2100DF-1A, availability is slated for a global release starting between November and December 2025, with retail pricing expected to be in line with past collaborative models - typically around $170 depending on the market.
