New Casio G-Shock GM-5600 and GM-2100 metal bezel watches leaked for a November 2025 launch
Casio is now reportedly set to release a new "Modern Industrial" G-Shock series in November 2025 with a rugged, utilitarian design. The new releases, which have been previewed across social media and watch blogs (courtesy of @geesgshock on Instagram and Great G-Shock World), consist of four new models: the GM-5600M-1JF and GM-2100M-1JF in silver, and the GM-5600BM-1JF and GM-2100BM-1JF in gunmetal. These models are part of the popular GM-5600 and GM-2100 (CasiOak) families, with their iconic square and octagonal bezels, respectively.
Off the bat, you can tell that the new "Modern Industrial" series has new machined bezel finishing. The bezels of each model sport a grid-like pattern, making the watches feel almost overtly industrial (which matches their namesake). Unlike the more polished finishes of standard metal-case G-Shocks, this special processing gives the surface a TV-like, vented cutout look, and it looks like a classic television set with a functional texture that resists fingerprints and minor scratches.
Functionally, the new releases will be quite familiar to fans of the GM-5600 and GM-2100 lines. The GM-5600M models feature a digital display with staple G-Shock functions such as multiple daily alarms, stopwatch, countdown timer, full auto calendar, and EL backlighting. The GM-2100M watches come with an analog-digital display, using Casio’s 5611 module. Both families get G-Shock’s signature shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, and battery life rated for years of regular use.
Pricing for the new series, according to European pre-release information, is expected to be approximately €199 (~$232) for the GM-5600M models and €219 (~$256) for the GM-2100M models. Japanese listings match this, with local pricing and availability to be confirmed closer to the release window. Both silver (“-1JF”) and gunmetal (“BM-1JF”) case variants will be available for each shape. For now, the source has only been able to procure images of two variants - more leaks should change that in the near future.
