Real-world images and display details of Casio's new Pro Trek PRW-B1000 series have shown up online (courtesy of @geesgshock on Instagram), and now, we have an in-depth look at both the finished watches and their build. This is the first PRW-B1000 series model with Bluetooth, which also explains why its retail price is higher than other watches from the series.
New hands-on and exhibition photos exhibit the PRW-B1000's sharply angular stainless-steel bezel, which gives the model a neat, rugged appearance. Production process images show progressive machining steps from blank metal blocks to brushed and polished bezels, doubling down on the brand's high-end approach to case finishing. The PRW-B1000-1 is shown in black/gray with reinforcing silver-tone accents, while the PRW-B1000-5 is visible in tan.
The showcase also reveals Casio's use of cellulose nanofiber (CNF) reinforced rubber for the band for superior wear resistance and eco-friendly bioplastic integration. Dedicated display text highlights the watch strap and casing's flame-resistant certification, achieved by using UL94 V-0 grade materials - important for safe field use.
Even in these IRL images, the PRW-B1000's hybrid analog/digital dial is visible, with clear indications for compass, thermometer, and barometer functions, all part of Casio's established Triple Sensor suite. Bluetooth app connectivity and solar charging are confirmed by the official material as well. The watch has atomic timekeeping (Multi-Band 6) and a case size measuring roughly 50.8 x 48.5 x 14.9 mm.
As mentioned earlier, retail pricing appears to be set at a premium, commensurate with the watch's advanced feature set and build materials. Both the PRW-B1000-1 and PRW-B1000-5 models are expected to see a broad launch this October, with the former already listed on Amazon for $535.
