Casio has unveiled three Full Metal G-Shock watch variants based on existing models in Japan—the GMW-B5000BT-1JF, GM-B2100BT-1AJF, and GMC-B2100BT-1AJF.
These monochromatic stainless steel models are distinguished by their black octagonal bezels surrounding modules with white-on-black dials. Each module can connect to Android and Apple smartphones to synchronize the time in 300 world cities and set alarms for up to five events. The variants can be pre-ordered for 88,000 yen (~$600) for the GMW-B5000BT-1JF and GM-B2100BT-1AJF, and 107,800 yen (~$740) for the GMC-B2100BT-1AJF, with shipments beginning in October 2025.
The GMW-B5000BT-1JF adds a 6-band radio receiver for stand-alone automatic atomic time synchronization in Japan, North America, Europe, and China. Readers who prefer a similar model with a resin wristband might consider the GMW-B5000-1JF available on Amazon.
Wearers can record their location along with the date and time on their phone with a button press, allowing them to review their daily activities. All come with 1/100th second stopwatches and timers.
The Full Metal G-Shock watches have unlimited runtimes thanks to the use of Tough Solar charging technology fitted underneath the watch faces, which recharges the rechargeable batteries under exposure to common indoor and outdoor light sources. The modules are protected by resin impact guards inside the stainless steel bodies, which are water-resistant to 20 ATM.
