The Casio Vintage AQ-240E-3A, AQ-240E-7A, and AQ-240EG-9A watches have arrived. Recently launched in Japan, and also on the way to the UK, these hybrid watches have two analog hands and a narrow digital display. Other features include a stopwatch, an alarm and hourly time signals.

Casio has launched three new Vintage watches: the AQ-240E-3A, the AQ-240E-7A and the AQ-240EG-9A. Already available in Japan, these products have also been confirmed for release in the UK.

The AQ-240E-3A and the AQ-240E-7A both have silver colored chrome-plated resin casing with steel straps. The former has a teal watch face, while the latter has a silver face matching the case and band. The AQ-240EG-9A has a gold colored resin casing with a matching face, accompanied by a gold ion-plated band.

The AQ-240E is a hybrid model, with two analog hands for the hour and minute, and a slim digital display in the six o’clock position. As such, it supports dual time zones, with the analog hands expected to remain accurate to within 30 seconds each month. Other features include a daily alarm, hourly time signals and a 1/100th second stopwatch. These are marketed as water resistant watches, with a three-year battery life estimate. They each measure 40.9 x 35.8 x 8.1 mm (~1.6 x 1.4 x 0.3 inches) and weigh 51 g (~1.8 oz).

While the Casio AQ-240E-3A and AQ-240E-7A will retail for £54.90 each, the AQ-240EG-9A will be more expensive at £74.90. Casio has yet to announce plans to bring these watches to other markets, like the US.
