Casio releases popular special edition watches in the US

Casio has released the G-Shock DW5600KHG25-1 and DW5600KHK25-1 watches in the US. These special edition models celebrate the work of Edo-period artist Katsushika Hokusai. They launched in Japan at the start of 2025 and have since been released in various European countries.

Now, at Casio’s online store, you can buy the G-Shock DW5600KHG25-1 and DW5600KHK25-1 watches for $135 each. Here, customers get free shipping in three to five business days. It is worth noting that these products have sold out multiple times in various markets, and Casio has not confirmed how many units are available in the US at this time.

The Casio G-Shock DW5600KHG25-1 is inspired by the woodblock print name ‘Fine Wind, Clear Morning’, with an orange and blue picture of Mount Fuji. The Casio DW5600KHK25-1 is based on ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’, featuring a yellow and blue image of the ocean. Each has a black resin casing and strap, with a positive (light background) display.

Based on the DW5600, these watches have a countdown timer, a daily alarm and a 1/100th second stopwatch.  The time in 12 or 24 hour formats, as well as the date, is shown on the central display, which can be illuminated with an LED. Powered by a CR2016 battery, the watch should run for around five years and is also water resistant to 200 m.
