The Casio G-Shock x Katsushika Hokusai collaboration watches are now available across Europe. These models launched in Japan at the start of the year, where they have since sold out on multiple occasions. One of the two digital watches was recently launched in the UK, where it also sold out.
Casio’s G-Shock DW-5600KHG25-1 and DW-5600KHK25-1 are now available in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Available at the brand’s online store, they are each priced at €119. Casio ID members get free shipping in two to three days; you can become a Casio ID member for free on the brand’s website.
The G-Shock x Katsushika Hokusai watches have designs inspired by the Edo-period artist. The DW-5600KHG25-1 features an orange and blue image of Mount Fuji, based on ‘Fine Wind, Clear Morning’, while the DW-5600KHK25-1 has a yellow and blue picture of waves similar to the ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’. Both digital watches have positive displays and black resin casing and straps.
These DW-5600 series watches are shock resistant and water resistant to 200 m. They should run for around five years on a CR2016 battery, and a Super Illuminator LED backlight helps you to read the display in low lighting. Features include a 1/100th second stopwatch, an up to 24-hour countdown timer and an alarm. Whether or when the Casio G-Shock DW-5600KHG25-1 and DW-5600KHK25-1 watches could reach the US remains to be seen.
