Vivo has not confirmed when its new flagships will be available yet. Instead, the company is allowing executives like Han Bo Xiao to build hype about the devices before their official introduction.
To recap, the same executive has been gradually revealing more camera hardware details relating to both the X300 and X300 Pro in the last few days. Incidentally, Vivo indicated in a recent press conference that both smartphones would feature the Sony LYT-828 and Samsung ISOCELL HPB, with the latter being a customised ISOCELL HP9 that Vivo includes in the X200 Ultra.
Now, Han Bo Xiao has compared the Vivo X300 against the iPhone 16 Pro in a new teaser image. Embedded above and below, the image emphasises that the X300 has even thinner display bezels than those found on the iPhone 16 Pro. Apparently the narrowest bezels yet, these would need to measure less than 1.41 mm to surpass the iPhone 16 Pro (curr. $742 - refurbished on Amazon).
Moreover, Han Bo Xiao states that the Vivo X300 features BOE's Q10 Plus display complemented by Zeiss colour tunings and a 2,160 Hz PWM value. On top of that, the X300 can combine DC and PWM dimming modes to maximise peak brightness values while minimising eye strain. Presumably, Vivo and its executives will continue to reveal more details about the X300 and X300 Pro in the coming days before a full launch date announcement.
