Earlier today, OnePlus announced that Hasselblad camera tunings would be leaving its smartphone lineup after being offered on the OnePlus 13 earlier this year (curr. $859 on Amazon). Covered separately, the company revealed the name and ethos behind a new imaging engine, which will likely debut on the OnePlus 15 towards the end of the year.
For some reason, the company decided against sharing any samples taken using its new DetailMax Engine. However, it has published sample photos taken using its similar 'Lumo Light-Capturing Imaging System'. As far as we can tell, the Lumo Light-Capturing Imaging System is the same as the DetailMax Engine but for OnePlus' Chinese audience.
Regardless, OnePlus has implied that the camera samples embedded below have been taken with its 'upcoming flagship device' that it will be revealing 'in the second half of the year'. While the device in question remains a mystery for the time being, OnePlus has hinted that the OnePlus 15 features an 85 mm and f/2.8 telephoto camera, rather than the 73 mm and f/2.6 mm camera used in the OnePlus 13. While we have compressed OnePlus' images, full resolution versions can be viewed on OnePlus' website of the dog, woman and sheep shown.
