The OnePlus 15 is expected to be the next-gen flagship phone from OnePlus. The device has now surfaced on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and 16GB of RAM, delivering around 25% higher scores than the OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 13 was released last year in China. It was a flagship offering and was among the first smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The OnePlus 13 will be succeeded by the OnePlus 15. It is expected to be powered by the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

Previously, the OnePlus 15 appeared on Geekbench with a low score due to an underclocked CPU. It managed to score only 639 points in single-core and 1,871 points in multi-core tests. The latest Geekbench listing of a device with model number PLK110, which is expected to be the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 15, reveals that it has 16GB of RAM and runs Android 16. The phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset achieved 3,709 points in single-core and 11,000 points in multi-core tests.

For comparison, the OnePlus 13 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset scores 2,967 points in single-core and 8,807 points in multi-core. Recently, a Xiaomi 17 series device also appeared on Geekbench with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and its scores were on par with the OnePlus 15 at 3,705 in single-core and 11,228 in multi-core tests. We expect to learn more about the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor at the Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for September 23.

OnePlus 15 leaked details

To summarize the leaked information of the OnePlus 15 so far, the device is said to offer a new BOE X3 Oriental screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to be smaller than its predecessor and may also have a lower resolution. The phone also drops the Hasselblad camera tuning, and now relies on the in-house DetailMax Engine instead.

On the positive side, the phone is said to feature a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, up from 6,000mAh with 100W charging on the OnePlus 13. Additionally, the OnePlus 15 is expected to have a new design language with a square rear camera housing. The smartphone may debut in China in October. The global launch may take place in early 2026.
