The Honor MagicPad 3 is a mid-range Android tablet that was launched in July. It features a 13.3-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Previously, Honor hinted that it is working on a Pro version of the tablet. Now, a new leak has surfaced suggesting a next-gen Qualcomm processor for the MagicPad 3 Pro.
Writing on Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will be the first tablet to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Notably, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is expected to be the successor to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is expected to be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit scheduled for September 23. The chipset is expected to bring a major performance boost. It is said to have an AnTuTu score of more than 4 million points.
Additionally, the tipster claims that the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will feature a 13.3-inch LCD panel with a high refresh rate. The tablet is said to have a large battery of over 10,000mAh. There is no exact release date for the tablet yet. However, the company hinted that it will release the MagicPad 3 Pro before the end of this year. Honor is also expected to be working on a compact flagship tablet, reportedly called the MagicPad 3 Mini.
