The Meizu 22 has been unveiled as the company's compact flagship Android smartphone offering. It features a 6.3-inch OLED LTPO panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The company highlights thin display bezels measuring 1.2mm, allowing for a 96.4% screen-to-body ratio. Notably, the display offers a peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. For reference, it is a high-end 8-core processor based on a 4nm architecture that was introduced in April 2025. The chipset is found in smartphones, including the Poco F7 and Nothing Phone (3). The average AnTuTu V10 score of the chipset is around 2 million. For enhanced thermal management, the Meizu 22 features a 4,500 mm² vapor cooling chamber. The phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Moving to the rear camera department, the Meizu 22 utilizes a 50MP OV50H primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the phone uses a 50MP camera on the front.
The smartphone comes with a 5,510mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging support. The phone ships with Flyme AIOS 2 based on Android 15. The phone has a thickness of 8.15mm and weighs 190g. Additionally, the phone is IP66/IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The Meizu 22 comes in three color options: Borderless Black, White, and Love Pink.
The Meizu 22 has been launched in China, with no details on a global launch for now. The phone comes in four memory configurations: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. They are priced at CNY 2,999 (~$420), CNY 3,399 (~$477), CNY 3,699 (~$520), and CNY 4,199 (~$590), respectively.
