The Note 22 Pro 5G is the most premium smartphone Meizu has just unleashed on the international market, slated to cost between $299 and $369 with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
The smartphone has a less distinctive look than even the Note 21 Pro 4G that can be found on Amazon; although that is due to its status as an international rebrand of the Note 16 Pro for the Chinese market. That does mean that it comes with a 6,200mAh battery that charges at up to 80W, not to mention potentially robot-proof durability and a fast AMOLED display.
It is the most impressive and premium member of the Note 22 5G series, even though the vanilla version has a more interesting octagonal hump for its 108+8+2MP rear camera and a decent 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display - mostly because it has a less up-to-date 5,000mAh battery with 40W charging.
The Mblu 22 series - which starts for as little as $79 thanks to a 4G/LTE-only Helio G99 SoC for a 6.79-inch 90Hz HD+ - is saddled with the same last-gen battery, even in the $99-$129 Mblu 22 Pro that upgrades to the newer Helio G81 and a Huawei Mate 70-inspired design.
Meizu has also indicated that it will release its IP68-rated, health tracking-enabled StarV Ring2 and StarV View AR Glasses to the global market, although pricing and availability for the smart accessories has yet to be outlined.
