Later this month (September 2025), two new flagship chipsets are expected to be released: MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Chinese companies, including Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus, are expected to be among the first to release phones powered by the new chipsets. Three of these flagship devices have already received 3C certification in China.
The smartphones that received 3C certification are reportedly the OnePlus 15, Vivo X300 Pro, and Oppo Find X9. The OnePlus 15 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It has surfaced on the 3C certification site with model number PLK110, and shows that it will ship with a 120W charger.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Pro and Oppo Find X9 are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. On the 3C certification site, the devices have been certified with model numbers V2502A and PLJ110, respectively. The Vivo X300 Pro may ship with a 90W charger, and the Oppo Find X9 may ship with an 80W charger.
Following the announcement of the new flagship chipsets from MediaTek and Qualcomm in late September, Chinese smartphone manufacturers are expected to release these devices in October in China. However, global launches may - and most likely will - take place weeks or months later.
