Vivo's next-generation flagship smartphone series is still a way off from being officially announced. Based on recent rumours, Vivo plans to introduce the X300 and X300 Pro in October. However, this will only apply in China.
By contrast, Vivo is not expected to offer either smartphone internationally until December. With that being said, the X300 and X300 Pro could be joined early next year by the X300 Ultra, just like Samsung does with its current Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $975 on Amazon).
Now, Digital Chat Station claims to have received information about the X300 Pro's final rear-facing camera configuration. To recap, Vivo revealed that its next flagships would receive a Sony LYT-828 primary camera and a 200 MP Samsung-sourced telephoto camera aided by its in-house VS1 and V3+ chips.
According to Digital Chat Station, the latter will be the ISOCELL HPB that delivers a 1/1.4-inch optical format with an 85 mm equivalent focal length. Presumably, this should convert to roughly 3.7x optical zoom, which would match the ISOCELL HP9-backed telephoto camera inside the X200 Pro. Moreover, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera is rumoured to be returning, as is Zeiss T* lens coating and CIPA 5.5 image stabilisation.
