Casio G-Shock DW-5600 special edition watch sells out in the UK

Casio has released the G-Shock DW-5600KHK25-1DR watch in the UK. Following its launch in Japan earlier this year, where it proved particularly popular, the company announced its UK release earlier in August 2025.

Launching in the UK on August 26th, the Casio G-Shock DW-5600KHK25-1DR watch has already sold out. However, Casio ID members can sign up to receive a ‘back in stock’ email notification. You can sign up for a free Casio ID account here. A G-Shock London Instagram post confirms that the product has also been sold at the company’s physical stores, though stock levels remain unclear. As a reminder, this model is priced at £99.90.

The G-Shock DW-5600KHK25-1DR is inspired by the woodblock print ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ by famed Japanese Edo-period artist Katsushika Hokusai. It has a positive (light background) LCD display with an LED backlight, which is helpful in low lighting. Features include a multifunctional alarm, a countdown timer, a 1/100th second stopwatch and hourly time signals. Plus, the 200 m water resistant watch should run for around five years on its battery.

Casio also recently announced that the G-Shock DW-5600KHK25-1DR watch will be released in other European countries, like the Netherlands and Germany, alongside the DW-5600KHG25-1 watch.
