Casio has confirmed that two new G-Shock Black and Gold series hybrid watches are rolling out across Europe. The GA-010GGB-1A9 and the GA-100GGB-1A9 were unveiled earlier this year alongside two other models, all of which are already available in the US and Japan.
In countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, the G-Shock GA-010GGB-1A9 and the GA-100GGB-1A9 can be found at the Casio online store. They are both said to be ‘coming soon’, though the company has not listed the exact release date. Casio ID members can register their interest to receive an email notification of the launch in this region.
The GA-010GGB-1A9 has a gold vapor deposition face, a gold mirror LCD screen, and a black bezel, casing and strap. The lower digital display shows the day of the week and the date, and the two upper indicators are used for features like the 1/100th second stopwatch, timer and alarms. Users can choose between 31 time zones, and the two analog hands are said to remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month. The Casio G-Shock GA-010GGB-1A9 will retail in the EU for €149.
The GA-100GGB-1A9 has a gold watch face with black accents, black resin casing and strap. There are two analog hands and multiple positive (light background) displays showing the date and day of the week. At the top of the face are three dials linked to features like a 1/1000th stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. Plus, this watch supports world time with the Home City Time Swap function. The Casio G-Shock GA-100GGB-1A9 is slightly cheaper at €129.
