Casio is set to release four new watches in the G-Shock Black and Gold series in Japan in the next few weeks. The G-Shock GD-010GB-1A9 was revealed earlier in July 2025. Now, three more GA-010 and GA-100 timepieces have been confirmed in the line-up, shown in photos from Japanese media outlet MyNavi News.
The first two are the GA-010GB-1A9 (black dial) and the GA-010GGB-1A9 (gold vapor deposition dial). These analog-digital G-Shocks should have the brand’s Carbon Core Guard structure, with a 10 year battery life estimate. Features include support for world time, a stopwatch, a timer and five daily alarms. The GA-010GB-1A9 is expected to be priced at ¥19,250 (~$130), while the GA-010GGB-1A9 will be more expensive at ¥21,450 (~$145).
The GA-100GGB-1A9 is another hybrid watch with a black resin casing and a gold deposition dial. It features a three-dial watch face, with two small digital displays. It is both shock resistant and magnetic resistant, as well as water resistant to 200 m. Tools include a 1/1000th second stopwatch, multiple alarms, a countdown timer, and it supports 29 world time zones. This model will cost ¥20,900 (~$141).
As covered in our previous article, the GD-010GB-1A9 is a digital watch with a black resin casing and gold bezel ring. It also has the Carbon Core Guard structure, 200 m water resistance and a 10 year battery life estimate. It supports Multi Time for four cities, and offers a stopwatch, time and five alarms. This watch should retail for ¥15,950 (~$108)
The Casio G-Shock GA-010GB-1A9, GA-010GGB-1A9, GA-100GGB-1A9 and GD-010GB-1A9 watches are expected to be released in Japan on August 1st 2025. As well as the coverage in Japan, these watches have also been spotted at online retailers in Russia and Thailand. Rumors suggest that at least some of these models could officially launch in Europe, though the company has yet to confirm this. Older watches in the Black and Gold series are already available at the brand’s US online store.
