Three new Casio Edifice EFS-S650 watches are on the way to more European countries. These include the EFS-S650D-2A and the EFS-S650D-3A, which both arrived in the UK earlier in July. Also coming to Europe is the all-black EFS-S650DC-1A variant, which was recently spotted on the brand’s international website.
In countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, Casio has now listed the Edifice EFS-S650D-2A (blue dial and bezel, silver casing) and the EFS-S650D-3A (green dial and bezel, silver casing) watches at its online store. These are each priced at €219. Meanwhile, the all black ion-plated EFS-S650DC-1A is more expensive at €259. The company has not provided an exact release date for these timepieces. Instead, prospective customers are invited to sign up for an email notification of the products’ launch.
Designed for premium sports car enthusiasts, these models have a stainless steel casing with a polished ceramic bezel, making them the first of their kind in the Edifice series. Each watch also has a stainless steel band with a one-touch 3-fold clasp. These timepieces measure 46.7 x 40.9 x 11.7 mm (~1.8 x 1.6 x 0.5 inches) and weigh 140 g (~0.3 lbs).
The Edifice EFS-S650 is an analog watch with three hands for the minute, second and hour. There are also three dials, one showing the time in a 24 hour format, and the other two linked to the 1-second stopwatch. The watch face is protected by sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating, and the timepieces are water resistant to 100 m. Plus, they feature solar charging, with a full charge allowing the watch to run for five months. Whether or when the Casio Edifice EFS-S650 watches could be released in the US is unclear.
