Anker releases new Solix P1 Meter for energy monitoring

Anker has launched the Solix P1 Meter in the Netherlands. Designed to be attached to your home’s smart meter, the accessory allows you to remotely monitor energy usage and can also be linked to your balcony power plant.

With the Solix P1 Meter, you can monitor your energy consumption in real-time through the Anker app thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity. When used with the Anker Solix Solarbank 2 E1600 AC and the Solix Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro, the data can be used to intelligently adjust your home energy storage as necessary. According to the product listing, it has a three second response time.

This accessory is said to be compatible with many smart meters that feature a P1 port and comply with DSMR (Dutch Smart Meter Requirements) version 5.0 and lower. According to Anker, the accessory can be set up in seconds, unlike competitor smart meters, which must be installed in the fuse box by a qualified technician. The P1 Meter comes with a 1 m (~3.3 ft) magnetic antenna and is covered by a two year warranty.

You can now pre-order the Anker Solix P1 Meter at the brand’s online store in the Netherlands for €24.90. Orders are currently expected to ship from August 18th. While the company has yet to officially launch this product in other markets, EU retailer Solar Power Supply is also accepting pre-orders for the gadget, shipping to more European countries like Spain and France at the end of August 2025. The device is fractionally more expensive here at €24.95.
