Anker has announced its latest home energy product, the Solix Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro - a solar battery system designed for households looking to store and manage solar energy in an efficient manner. The unit is geared toward both grid-connected and off-grid setups and includes options for expansion and wall mounting.
At the core of the Solarbank 3 is a 2688Wh LFP (LiFePO₄) battery with a nominal output of 1800W and a peak AC output of 1200W. It supports a max discharge current of 75A and includes a bi-directional inverter rated at 1200W, which lets the device handle both charging and discharging through the grid.
The system supports up to 3600W of solar input using four independent MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) channels, each with a PV input current of up to 32A. It’s designed to work in a voltage range from 16V to 60V and can handle PV short-circuit currents up to 40A per channel.
Anker has rated the Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro for year-round use with an operating temperature range from -20°C to 55°C and an IP65 rating for water and dust protection. It’s built for wall mounting and weighs 29.2kg with dimensions of 460 × 254 × 279mm. There’s also an optional BP2700 expansion battery available for those who need more storage.
Safety protections cover all the usual suspects, including overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, short circuits, and insulation resistance checks. The unit also comes with a 10-year warranty for additional peace of mind.
The Solarbank ships with a wall-mounting kit, cables, documentation, and basic installation hardware. The BP2700 expansion battery will be sold separately.
