The launch of the Vivo X200 Ultra is almost upon us following the releases of other Ultra-branded flagships earlier this year. For context, Samsung kicked off proceedings in January with the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,099.99 on Amazon). However, it only took Xiaomi a little over a month to deliver the Xiaomi 15 Ultra globally.
Earlier this week, Vivo finally confirmed that the X200 Ultra will land on April 21, which puts it about a fortnight behind Oppo's forthcoming Find X8 Ultra. With the full debut of the X200 Ultra less than two weeks away, Vivo has now decided to reveal what will likely make up all the device's launch colours.
Surprisingly, Vivo has decided to mirror Xiaomi by embracing a two-tone finish for one variant. Regardless, Vivo's Vice President has elaborated on various device specifications, such as the inclusion of 14 mm ultra-wide-angle, 35 mm primary and 85 mm telephoto rear-facing cameras. According to Huang Tao, all these cameras feature Zeiss T* lens coatings, as well as optical image stabilisation (OIS) and support for 4K/60 FPS 10-bit log or 4K/120 FPS slow motion videos.
On top of that, Tao has hinted that the X200 Ultra will contain a particularly strong front-facing camera, too. Incidentally, leaker Digital Chat Station suggests that this camera will centre around a 50 MP sensor. Meanwhile, the same executive has also confirmed the presence of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which will power a 2K display optimised by Zeiss. Incidentally, Digital Chat Station adds that this display will measure 6.82-inches diagonally and will be complemented by a 6,000+ mAh battery that supports 40 W wireless 90 W wired charging. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Vivo plans to offer the X200 Ultra outside China.
