The launch of the OnePlus 13T appears to be right around the corner. Currently, OnePlus has not officially confirmed when the device will be arriving just yet. Instead, the company is now allowing some of its executives to share early details about the device on Chinese social media.
Various sources are confident that they have received accurate information about the same device ahead of schedule, too. For example, Digital Chat Station claimed at the end of last month that the OnePlus 13T features a new cooling system to overcome the kind of throttling that we observed when we reviewed the OnePlus 13.
The same leaker now claims that the OnePlus 13T could be a one-of-a-kind for a while. Specifically, Digital Chat Station alleges that the OnePlus 13T will be the only circa 6.3-inch smartphone to feature a battery capacity that surpasses 6,000 mAh 'in the short term'.
By contrast, rivals in this department like the Realme GT7 are expected to launch with panels that span over 6.6-inches diagonally. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy wielding Galaxy S25 only features a mere 4,000 mAh battery capacity (curr. $719.99 on Amazon). Digital Chat Station adds that the inclusion of an energy-efficient display will help the OnePlus 13T become a 'battery life fiend', particularly compared to the existing OnePlus 13. Currently, OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 13T this month in China before releasing the same device globally later this year.
