Much has been said about the upcoming OnePlus 13T over the past few weeks. OnePlus is set to launch the 6.3-inch phone as one of the few compact flagship models on the market, and a new leak now claims it will deliver impressive performance despite its size.
As revealed by Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 13T will launch with "radical performance", thanks to its new heat dissipation hardware. Supposedly, the phone will use a new design and materials, along with a large vapor chamber, to deliver thermal management on par with, or even greater than, larger flagship phones.
It's important to note that our review of the OnePlus 13 revealed significant sustained performance issues:
The second-generation Tiangong installed in the OnePlus 13 is able to emit the waste heat of the Snapdragon 8 Elite effectively, as we measured around 46 °C under load, but the chipset throttles heavily in the 3D Mark WildLife stress tests. Here, the heat development leads to a drop in system performance of around 50%.

Evidently, OnePlus will be attempting to remedy those issues with the 13T, despite its significantly smaller chassis. In addition to improved thermal handling, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered OnePlus 13T is said to be small enough to be used one-handed and will feature a 6200+ mAh battery and 80 W charging.
