OnePlus has expanded the availability of its new Slim Magnetic Power Bank, which launched in China alongside the OnePlus 13 in late 2024. The new portable charger, which is MagSafe-compatible, is available through the official store at $69.99, and it can also be bundled with the company's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite. In that case, the price of the unit drops to $49.99.
It's worth noting that the OnePlus 13 doesn't feature built-in magnets for magnetic accessories like this. Instead, for the phone to work with this power bank, users would first need to install a magnetic case on the device (Nillkin magnetic case curr. $20.39 on Amazon). The company also notes that the portable charger will work seamlessly with Apple devices that are compatible with MagSafe accessories.
As for the power bank itself, it features a 5,000 mAh battery capacity and has support for up to 10 W wireless charging. However, when it's paired with an iPhone, the wireless charging speed will max out at 7.5 W. There's a USB-C port on the portable charger, which also maxes out at 10 W. That is, this is not the fastest power bank that's available in the market.
Even its battery capacity is lower than that of the OnePlus 13. However, one of the key selling points of the OnePlus Slim Magnetic Power Bank is that it's thinner and lighter than average portable chargers. To be specific, it measures 8.8 mm thick and weighs 120 grams.
The company says this thin and lightweight design was achieved using high-density battery cells, N2M magnets, and aluminum alloy materials. Other highlights include LED light indicators on the bottom, a physical button for charging control, compatibility with air transport regulations, and a sleek design.
