The Sharge Mini 2 portable power bank has been launched in China. It is an updated version of the original Mini charging accessory, known as the Flow Mini Portable Charger in international markets.
Like its predecessor, the Mini 2 has an integrated USB-C cable, which doubles as a lanyard. Again, there is an interchangeable central connector for lightning or a second USB-C output, each with a protective cap. You can charge two devices simultaneously, with the maximum output increased from 12W to 22.5W. Another upgrade is that both ports now support two-way charging.
Plus, there is support for fast-charging protocols like QC3.0, PD3.0, FCP and AFC. As in the older version, there is a 5,000mAh battery capacity, and the device is a similar size, measuring 79.4 x 25.8 x 33.5 mm (~3.1 x 1.0 x 1.3 inches) and weighing around 100g (~3.5 oz). The accessory has a transparent design, and customers can choose between silver and black versions of the product.
Sharge is now selling the Mini 2 portable power bank in China for CNY 169 (~$23). Whether or when this accessory could launch in other markets like North America is unclear. The original model is available in the US, currently $18.99 at Amazon.
