Anker launches new cheaper magnetic wireless charger
The Anker Zolo Wireless Charger (Magnetic, Pad) is now available in Germany, and appears to be on the way to other European countries. This new accessory arrives as a cheaper alternative to the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (Pad), which launched in 2024.
Anker’s new Zolo Wireless Charger is a Qi2-certified device offering 15W charging, matching its predecessor. According to Anker, this would allow you to charge an iPhone 16 Pro to 25% in 19 minutes. Other features include ActiveShield 2.0 safety technology and a longer 5 ft (1.5 m) USB-C cable.
While the charging features appear identical to the older accessory, the new Zolo Wireless charger is more compact and lighter; the gadget measures 2.36 x 0.41 inches (~6.0 x 1.05 cm) and weighs 2.39 oz (~68 g). According to Anker, the polycarbonate casing should aid heat dissipation. Plus, the company indicates that it is compatible with the iPhone 12 series and newer, as well as various generations of AirPods and AirPods Pro.
You can now buy the Anker Zolo Wireless Charger (Magnetic, Pad) at Amazon Germany for €19.99 in black or white. That makes it the same price as the older Anker 313 Magnetic Wireless Charger (Pad). The accessory can also be found at Amazon in countries like the UK, the Netherlands and France. Whether or when it could launch in the US is unclear; in the meantime, you could consider the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (Pad), currently $23.74 at Amazon US.
