The Anker-owned brand Eufy has officially introduced a new cleaning system called the Omni E28, which is scheduled to launch on April 23rd. It’s unclear which regions this release date applies to. That said, the Eufy E28 is a robot vacuum and mop that’s intended to remove dust and stains. It features a special design that supposedly addresses a structural issue that many robot vacuums and mops suffer from.
Specifically, the mop rotates at 180 rpm with a contact pressure of around 15 Newtons and is continuously wiped clean. This should prevent dirt from being spread around. Although this isn’t really relevant for dust cleaning, it should help with dirt and other substances, such as spilled ketchup. The manufacturer also advertises a suction power of 20,000 Pascals as well as an extendable side brush. The Eufy vacuum robot also recognizes and avoids objects.
The Anker Eufy E28 further comes with a base station with a quite interesting feature. To be more exact, the FlexiOne is detachable can be used as a portable deep cleaner. It uses pressure and water to break loose tough stains. The water is then vacuumed up, so the deep cleaner could be useful for things like carpets or upholstered furniture. In addition to the Eufy E28, Anker will also unveil the Eufy E25, which lacks the aforementioned deep cleaning add-on.
