The Xiaomi Mijia Central Air Conditioner Duct Unit Pro 4HP has been revealed in China. This smart home product features HyperOS Connect and can be used for cooling or heating in living spaces. Plus, an integrated mmWave radar sensor is said to allow wind to be directed towards or away from people.

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Central Air Conditioner Duct Unit Pro 4HP in China. This smart home model is designed for areas measuring up to 50 m² (~538 ft²) in size, providing hot or cold air for your living space.

The new Mijia Central Air Conditioner is said to have a 1,410 m³/h (~49,794 ft³/h) air circulation volume, with 2,700W cooling power and 3,100W heating power. The product offers a wide angle and multiple airflow settings, including seven speeds and a natural breeze mode. On top of this, an integrated mmWave radar sensor is said to detect the position of anyone in the room, allowing you to direct the airflow towards or away from people.

With HyperOS Connect, you can remotely control the smart home device via the Mijia app, where you can also trigger OTA updates. Plus, this means that it can be linked with other compatible smart home products like a robot vacuum or dehumidifier. Alternatively, it can be controlled with the accompanying Xiaomi Smart Air Management Panel. The indoor unit can produce as little as 24 dBA running noise and is certified as a Level 1 energy efficiency device in China. It has a relatively slim body, measuring 1,250 x 198 mm (~49.2 x 7.8 inches) and has a white finish.

The Xiaomi Mijia Central Air Conditioner Duct Unit Pro 4HP retails for CNY 8,999 (~$1,225) in China. It is unlikely that this model will launch in markets such as Europe, where the company has yet to officially launch its smart air conditioners. However, you can buy other smart home devices here, like the Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 (curr. €119 at Amazon Germany).
