New Govee Outdoor Clear Bulb String Lights launch in Europe

The Govee Outdoor Clear Bulb String Lights are now available in Europe. This product appeared in the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) database in mid-March, though few details were revealed in this listing.

The Outdoor Clear Bulb String Lights are fitted with RGBWIC LED bulbs, offering over 16 million colors. They can also deliver warm white lighting with up to 1,200 lumens brightness across 15 bulbs, and are expected to run for 20,000 hours. As the name suggests, the teardrop-shaped bulbs are transparent, helping them blend in with their surroundings when switched off. In the Govee Home app, you can choose from over 100 preset scenes, including various music modes, or generate AI lighting effects with text or voice prompts. 

With 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Matter compatibility, these lights integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems. Plus, you can control the smart lights with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. These outdoor bulbs are rated as IP67 dust and waterproof, while the power pack has an IP44 rating. Customers can choose between the 1-Pack, a 15m string with 15 LED lights, or the 2-Pack, for 30m of lights with 30 LEDs. It is worth noting that you cannot connect two sets of these lights.

It is unclear whether or when this product could launch in the US; alternative models, like the Govee Outdoor String Lights 2 are available here, starting from $79.99 for the 48ft version (Amazon).
