Govee is about to launch the Gaming Pixel Light worldwide. This smart light is designed to sit on a desktop or tabletop, enhancing your gaming set-up with colorful light-up images. Two versions will be on offer: a smaller square 32*32 LED pixel light and a rectangular 52*32 LED pixel version.
You can use the Gaming Pixel Light to display pixel art, which can be uploaded via the Govee Home app. According to Govee, its “advanced LED technology” ensures consistent brightness across the light and a clear image. The light supports animations at 30 frames per second (fps). Plus, you can use an AI tool to create tailored dynamic lighting, which the company claims is an industry first for a pixel light.
Alternatively, you can use it to display a countdown timer or to show information like a weather forecast, Bitcoin prices or NBA schedules. Govee describes the model as “sleek”, though it has yet to confirm the exact product size. Other specifications, including the peak brightness level, have also yet to be revealed.
The Govee Gaming Pixel Light will launch on May 18th in Europe and May 19th in the US. The 32*32 version is expected to cost $119.99/£99.99/€99.99, while the 52*32 model will be priced at $139.99/£119.99/€119.99.
