Nanoleaf appears to be about to launch a new product: the Solar Garden Lights. These outdoor smart lights were recently spotted in an FCC filing, suggesting they could be launching soon. Features of this height adjustable and bendable smart light include solar charging and an accompanying remote.

The Nanoleaf Solar Garden Lights with Solar Firefly Remote Control appear to be on the way. These new outdoor lights and the accompanying accessory were recently spotted in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database. This US-based agency regulates various devices that have communication technology.

The FCC filing includes a user manual for the Nanoleaf Solar Garden Lights, revealing many of the device's features. Illustrations show these smart lights to have eight bendable wires, each with a bulb at the end, extending from a central pole. As their name suggests, they can be charged with solar power, though there is a USB-C port as a backup. These height-adjustable lights will not turn on in daylight or with bright ambient lighting. The accompanying Solar Firefly Remote Control appears to offer buttons for brightness and color temperature adjustments, to cycle between colours and to trigger time-related functions like the auto-off timer.

Each kit comes with two smart lights, extension poles, ground stakes, the remote and two solar panels. It is unclear when the Nanoleaf Solar Garden Lights will launch or how much they will cost. The company already sells a range of smart outdoor lighting solutions in the US; for example, you can buy the Nanoleaf Essentials Matter Smart Multicolor Outdoor String Lights Smarter Kit for $129.99 at Amazon.
