The upgraded Nanoleaf 4D V2 aims to more faithfully reproduce the color palettes in movies and games. With the new backlighting kit, a revamped zigzag light strip installs without corner brackets. Compatible with Smart TVs up to 65 inches, the 4D V2 launches in September for $99.99 USD/$129.99 CAD.

Nanoleaf entered the Smart TV screen mirroring market in 2023 with the original 4D. Now, the company is ready to unveil the 4D V2, which capitalizes on the advantages of the original kit. The latest version focuses on enhancing the scenery in movies and games with more precise colors. Also, the 4D V2 promises even easier installation, featuring bracket-free LED light strip installation.

Buyers can purchase the Nanoleaf 4D V2 for $99.99 USD or $129.99 CAD starting in September. The Nanoleaf store, as well as major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, will stock the screen mirroring solution.

Using a camera, the 4D V2 scans an adjacent screen, programming the light strip placed behind TVs. However, inaccurate colors or delayed responses can disrupt the added immersiveness. Nanoleaf promises that the kit places greater emphasis on white hues, resulting in more convincing backlighting. Addressing a complaint about the 4D, the camera mount is also longer, minimizing blind spots.

One of the advantages of the Nanoleaf 4D was its less frustrating installation. Unlike rivals from Govee, the light strip had a zigzag pattern, making it easier to bend the strip around corners. With the 4D V2, the manufacturer has further simplified the process. Buyers no longer will need to use the pesky corner brackets at all. Owners can still trim the light strip at pre-selected points. Unfortunately, the maximum compatible Smart TV size is currently 65 inches.

The 4D V2 will sync with many other Nanoleaf lights for coordinated room-wide displays., Some supported products include the Blocks wall panels as well as various lamps and bulbs. Buyers can also experiment with Razer Chroma support on gaming PCs or simple controls through Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Home.
