The new Govee Curtain Lights Pro feature 960 LED beads for more recognizable smart light displays
IFA 2025When the original Govee Curtain Lights arrived, buyers proudly displayed illuminated artwork on their walls. Still, when standing closer to the smart lights, the logos or characters weren’t always recognizable. Announced at IFA 2025, the new Curtain Lights Pro feature a denser array of 960 LEDs, a noticeable jump over its predecessor’s 520 beads.
With model number H70B6, the manufacturer has listed the Curtain Lights Pro at $199.99. Buyers can find the Govee lights in stock at other retailers, like Amazon, starting on September 8th.
The Govee Curtain Lights Pro will plaster walls and windows with a 30 x 32 LED matrix. The 960 RGBIC beads are spaced just 2.16 inches apart, which should result in sharper images. Meanwhile, an updated processor promises faster responses to scene changes and more fluid animations.
Curtain Lights Pro displays can grow over time
Another complaint with the Curtain Lights 2 was the inability to combine multiple sets. Larger sizes were available, but buyers could not splice together individual kits. The Curtain Lights Pro solves that issue by supporting up to three connected smart lights. Currently, the only available kit includes a 5.4 x 5.7 feet display.
At a smoother 30Hz refresh rate, owners can showcase more than 250 preloaded scenes. However, enterprising users often design patterns that pay tribute to favorite games. Buyers can again upload GIF files or make use of hundreds of assets found in the Govee Home app. Matter connectivity returns with the Curtain Lights Pro, allowing for basic controls in other software.
The Govee Curtain Lights Pro employ waterproof components, making them suitable as outdoor lights. Owners will have mounting options that include fixed bars and less permanent straps.
