One-Netbook has kept to its promise of releasing the OneXPlayer X1 Air after showcasing the device last month during ChinaJoy 2025 in Shanghai. Incidentally, the company had previously indicated that the OneXPlayer X1 Air would be available from September 8. However, the latest member of the OneXPlayer X1 series can be ordered from today globally.
On the face of it, the OneXPlayer X1 Air is the spitting image of the recent OneXPlayer X1 Pro (curr. $1,499 on Amazon). To that end, the new model retains the 10.95-inch and 120 Hz IPS display of older models. Unfortunately, we suspect that One-Netbook is still using a portrait-based display rather than a landscape alternative. Nonetheless, the panel is bright and exhibited minimal backlight bleeding in our tests.
As we have discussed previously, four major changes exist between the OneXPlayer X1 Air the rest of the OneXPlayer X1 series. For one, the OneXPlayer X1 Air can be configured with Core Ultra 5 228V or Core Ultra 7 258V processors from Intel's Lunar Lake family with Arc 130V and Arc 140V iGPUs, respectively. Not only will these processors be more efficient than the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 inside the OneXPlayer X1 Pro, but they are also joined by 10% larger battery that delivers a 72 Wh peak capacity.
Moreover, One-Netbook has finally included a built-in kickstand rather than the afterthought solution it offers on other OneXPlayer X1 models. Unfortunately, One-Netbook has also replaced OCuLink with a proprietary Mini SSD slot developed by Biwin and also found in the GPD Win 5. Still, this new Mini SSD slot simplifies the storage upgrade process.
The OneXPlayer X1 Air starts at $1,099 with an Core Ultra 5 228V, 32 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and a magnetic keyboard. Alternatively, the device can be picked up with a Core Ultra 7 258V and 32 GB of RAM for $1,299 or $1,399 with 1 TB or 2 TB of storage, respectively. As it stands, One-Netbook charges $59 for a 512 GB Mini SSD and $89 for a 1 TB variant. All OneXPlayer X1 Air orders should start shipping on September 25.
