AYN Odin 3 undercuts Ayaneo Pocket Fit Elite as more affordable flagship gaming handheld

AYN has been teasing the Odin 3 for quite a while now, and recently, the company has detailed the specs of the gaming handheld. As it turns out, the new Snapdragon 8 Elite stands as a proper successor to the Odin 2, and as AYN has just confirmed, it will be more affordable than the Ayaneo Konkr Pocket Fit Elite.

For reference, Ayaneo has confirmed that the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite will have a starting price of $399, and while the SoC has not been officially revealed yet, it's expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite. As for the AYN Odin 3, the starting retail price is $349, with the "Super Early Bird" offer bringing it down to $299.

With this announcement, AYN has also confirmed that the Indiegogo launch of the Snapdragon 8 Elite gaming handheld is set for September 7, 2025, at 02:30 UTC. It's worth noting that the starting model, which will be available at $299 during the initial phase, will only be available in black. This base config features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

There will be three more configurations of the gaming handheld, with the top-end variant featuring 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. This top-of-the-line configuration will go for $499 during the first 48 hours of the Indiegogo launch. AYN will also include a free TPU case for the Odine 3 during the Indiegogo campaign period.
